Discuz, a digital entertainment marketplace based in the United States, is getting the green light from the Indian government to begin selling digital media from August 1, according to a report on news portal The Wirecutter.
The move has been approved by the Cabinet, which has given the company an opportunity to bring its content to market and the government has given them a green signal, according the report.
Discuz has already offered content from Netflix, Amazon, Apple, and HBO.
However, the website is currently not available to customers.
According to The Wireputter, the portal’s editor-in-chief Kishore Kothari told the news portal that the company was currently reviewing all the feedback that had been received from customers.
